Balloon Boy Story - Richard Heene Believed To Have Planned Hoax

The story of the Heene family, featuring "mad scientist" and "storm chaser" father Richard Heene who allegedly used his young son "Falcon Heene" as part of an elaborate hoax to gain his own reality show, is still going strong as more details are being released to the media.

If the fact that Richard Heene and his wife met while in "acting school" wasn't enough to raise suspicions, the world pretty much guessed that the "balloon chase" was planned when six-year-old Falcon Heene answered a question on "Larry King Live" saying "You guys said we did it for the show."

Now a former colleague of Richard Heene has come forward to reveal that the foil balloon a.k.a. (U.F.O.) being unleashed was something the two had spoken about previously. If you're still not convinced that it's a hoax you might want to listen to the song that Richard Heene had created for his "reality show."

This family has received so much media attention that they actually might end up with their own show, which means sadly enough after all of this, Richard Heene will win.

Balloon Boy Story - Was It All Just a Hoax?

Yesterday, the Heene family caused a great deal of concern as their homemade Mylar balloon took flight and authorities believed that their six-year-old son Falcon Heene was inside as it floated up in the Colorado skies.

A rescue attempt was made by both local and federal authorities who searched the ground on foot and by air determined to find Falcon Heene.

It turns out that Falcon was never in the Mylar balloon but hiding up in the attic of the Heene family home.

The Heene family has been featured on the reality show "Wife Swap" two times. Father, Richard Heene is a meteorologist who chases storms and builds weather devices such as the Mylar balloon.

Because the family has received notoriety from appearing on the "Wife Swap" show some people believe that the mylar balloon being unleashed was a contrived publicity stunt. But Richard Keene says this just isn't true, and the family truly believed that their six-year-old son Falcon was in danger.

According to a CNN News report authorities believe that the case was genuine.

Jaycee Lee Dugard - People Magazine Interview

Up until now "Jaycee Lee Dugard" has been in seclusion while reuniting with her family, working with police, and receiving therapy.

But this Friday the world will finally here more about how "Jaycee Lee Dugard" is doing now, and will even have the chance to see pictures of Jaycee and her family.

The exclusive interview will be published in this week's issue of "People Magazine" which will be available this Friday, October 16, 2009.

Suprisingly there hasn't been any "leaked" Jaycee Lee Dugard photos published on the Internet, and the one photo of "Jaycee Lee Dugard" as an adult (on the cover of People Magazine) was posted this week on People.com.

Maya Angelou - October 2009 Update

Maya Angelou has been hospitilized today, but contrary to numerous online reports the 81-year-old poet has not died. The rumors of Mays Angelou's death that are believed to have started on Twitter.com are false.

Maya Angelou was in L.A. to attend the "BraveHeart Awards." It is not known why Maya Angelou was taken to the hospital or what her current condition is, but when there is an official announcement I'll be posting it here on Daily News Scoop.

UPDATE - Maya Angelou has come forward to put online rumors of her sickness to rest, saying that she was never sick and never hospitalized. The rumors of Maya Angelou being hospitalized began online at TMZ.com, an established celebrity gossip site who apparently made a mistake.

Since TMZ.com's information is normally reliable many legitimate online news websites reported Maya Angelou's hospitalization as fact, causing hardship and heartache for Maya Angelou and her family and friends.

Elizabeth Smart Testimony Reveals Details Of Her Abduction

Up until now Elizabeth Smart has kept quiet when it comes to the details of her June 5, 2002 kidnapping, despite appearing on many television interviews.

But new details of the abduction have now been revealed after Elizabeth Smart testified against Brian David Mitchell.

Brian David Mitchell took Elizabeth Smart who was 14 at the time from her bed an knife point in the middle of the night and raped her repeatedly over a period of nine months.

Elizabeth Smart was found on March 12, 2003 with Brian David Mitchell and his partner Wanda Barzee, she was only 18 miles away from her home.

David Letterman Scandal - Affair Confession - Extortion Plot

David Letterman decided to make a very public confession on his talk show the "Late Show With David Letterman." Letterman told his audience how he had recently been involved in an extortion plot that began three weeks ago and ended when he testified in court.

Letterman admitted to having sex with women who work with him on the show. David Letterman recently married longtime girlfriend Regina Laske and the couple have a son together.

The confession was more like a comedy routine as David Letterman joked about having sex with staffers. It was a comedy skit that many people found tasteless.

Jon Gosselin Tries To Stop "Jon & Kate Plus 8" Show

You never know what Jon Gosselin will do next these days. The father of 8 who has become known for his cheating party-boy ways has had a change of heart this week, saying he's sorry for the way he's acted.

It just so happens that Jon Gosselin decided he was sorry for his ways the day he was fired from reality show "Jon & Kate Plus 8." The same man who just weeks ago said that he "despised" his soon to be ex wife Kate has now postponed the divorce for 90 days, saying he wants to open up the line of communication.

Obviously upset that he's been fired from the show TLC show which will now be called "Kate Plus 8" Jon Gosselin is attempting to shut down the show all together threatening legal action if the television crew enter the home he shares with Kate Gosselin.

So will Jon and Kate reunite? Will the "Jon & Kate Plus 8" show go on even without Jon's consent? Looks like Jon and Kate Gosselin fans are in for an interesting ride over the next several weeks.
